How It Works

• When someone is close to you, you can hear them talk.
• If they walk farther away, their voice gets quieter.
• Sneak to whisper quietly to someone right next to you.
• Sprint to shout across a distance.

Setting Up Voice Chat

For Bedrock & Consoles (Zero Downloads Needed)

1. Join the Minecraft server.
2. Type /voice in chat.
3. Click the link that appears in chat on your phone or computer.
4. Tap Allow Microphone. That's it! Put on your headset and talk to anyone near you in game.

For Java Players

If you play on Java, you can use the Simple Voice Chat client mod:

1. Download the Simple Voice Chat mod for Minecraft 1.21 (from Modrinth or CurseForge).
2. Put the .jar file into your .minecraft/mods folder.
3. Join the server and press the V key to test your microphone and adjust your volume.
